Can you spray paint a car?

i want to spray paint my car because i hate the color. what do I have to do to spray paint it myself, is there a certain type of paint I can use?
yes you can spray paint your car, first you got to sand it down and fix all the bad spots wash it down with a good paint thinner and get it in a dust free place and if you have a good spray gun and a air compressor then thin your paint down and start painting, good luck.
DONT TRY IT. spray paint does not dry well on a car at all, resulting in a scratchy texture, much like a chalkboard, and it will eventually chip off.
i would just get it done at like macco.. its between 350-500 tops
if you want it to look stupid you can
you can use spray pain as a temporary fix

i only use spray paint on my rust spots until i can afford a proper paint job from a professional

if you think the color is ugly now it will be even more ugly after you give it a cheap paint job

just save up some cash unless you have a beater and you dont care but its your choice

i reccomend rust check paint

you can buy it at walmart

and it gives a nice glossy finish
it is very hard to diy. you need to sand, prime, paint, sand, paint............ and just all kinds of bad. i you have the time and patience then go ahead
nothing says STONER like a spray painted dope mobile to a cop, go spend 6 to 800 at maaco, at least you look good going down the road, and it will last long enough to buy a better newer car in the future, forget spray paint, it looks like crap, its a pain in the butt, it takes about 60 cans minimum to do what you are talking about plus tape and paper and screw it, go to maaco.
