Mineral Spirits, kerosene, or brake clean will do it. make sure you wash it with car soap afterwards, not dish soap. Then give it a coat of wax.
Wow, please dont put brake cleaner on your car. You jumped too quick to give that a best answer. Look for a california bar (or something like a californay clay bar or clay bar) detailers use these to take off anything but the paint.

Since you have a drill, buy a buffing pad(Pep Boys) and use some polish. It should come right off.
