I have a 1989 E150, For a few days I could start the Van by Moving the Gear Shift lever around and she would start, so I changed the Neutral Safety Switch, well to my wonderment, I still have to wiggle the gear shift lever to start.. Help. What next. ( The van does start right up, once you finds its happy spot )
there should be a slide adjustment at the switch..put the slector lever where you want it and while try to start the van..slide the switch until it starts..tighten it there and you should be fine...
